The second interview went well and you’ve been informed that they will make a decision in the next two weeks. The relationship seems to be developing nicely and you’re thinking this just might be “the one”. So what can you do (and NOT do) during those two weeks to ensure that your name stays top-of-mind without being a pest and sabotaging your chances?

A follow-up plan will help you accomplish the positive touch points while avoiding the impulse to check in too frequently, potentially giving the impression that you’re desperate. And sometimes we ARE desperate (or at least feel that way), during a job search, but giving that impression will hurt your chances of getting an offer.

Click here for follow-up options you can use to create an appropriate follow up plan for your situation.

Can Pinterest Help Your Job Search?

Can Pinterest Help Your Job Search?:

Great ideas for creating a pinboard showcasing your resume, interests and accomplishments! It would be easy to get the impression that there is little common ground between members of different generations, but it’s important to remember that generational differences are just another form of diversity. The good news is that there are dozens of online avenues to communicate hiring needs. The bad news is that without a centralized location for posting, job seekers and the companies looking for them don’t always connect.

So what can you do about it? My recommendation is that you have an understanding of all of the job posting options a company might use and have a presence or at least search all of them.
